 Ancient classical work Su Wen (the Plain Questions) records, "The Tai Yin statement that sick of odor from food, stomach has no Qi, as a result, sick of the smell from food."

 Internal reasons: the sick of food is not from disease of the heart channel, as there is deficiency in the stomach, there is heat and phlegm.

 External symptoms: sick of food, there is no sound or vomit content, wants to vomit but cannot vomit, uneasy, similar to seasickness or car sickness.

 Differences: there is pathogenic cold in the stomach, sick of food, vomit clear liquid, not thirst, the pulse is slow; there is phlegm heat in the stomach, vomit sour liquid, polydipsia (excessive thirst, morbid thirst), the pulse is surging.

 Various syndromes of sick of food: there are different syndromes of sick of food.

 There is phlegm stagnation in the chest, sick of food;

 One is hurt from eating and dyspepsia (indigestion), sick of food;

 One has a chronic disease, deficiency in the stomach, sick of food;
